• Design, construct and maintain all master Apple Mac OSX images in dual boot form for both PPC and Intel hardware. Supervise Windows XP standard image creation for Ghost server. Determine best practices/standards and rollout strategies.
• Creation of standard WindowsXP image for MacIntel Virtualization use with Parallels or Boot Camp. • Train Tier2 level IT desktop support staff to ensure all technicians are following support and technical standards. • Administration of enterprise level management software such as LANrev, Apple Network Administrator, Masstransit, and Apple OSX servers. • Continuously evaluate existing services and worklows to ensure adherence to company standards and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Document technical departmental/systems processes, workflows and distribute via print, email and web (designed and maintain support intranet). • Department Purchasing Manager for hardware/software Mac/Pc, maintain relationships with vendors CDW, Apple, Dell, Adobe, Quark and more. • Promote user efficiency and consistency throughout by improving their productivity using available technologies and communication methods. • Promote, train, encourage, and mentor “superusers” and proactively develop action plans to generate positive and inclusive working atmospheres (inhouse seminars, user focus groups, Q&A sessions). • Provide Tier3 “Helpdesk” level support for operating systems, applications, and hardware. • Create and maintain Filemaker databases for asset management, serial number records, purchase order database and telecom records.
